Read full description of the books:
This book is dim, boring, and without substance. It is about a huge living bus that looks like a bunny which apparently picks up all the town's residents - which are animals who wear clothes and live in houses - for Easter.
We see everyone get on the bus with Easter eggs and stuffed animals.
But when too many animals get on the bus, it breaks down and can't go anymore.
Oh, no, Bunny Bus!
Tumble out! Come, one and all:
Let's give this bus an overhaul.
Okay, but instead of repairing the bus mechanically, everyone: washes it, paints it, shows it pretty eggs,... This isn't going to help, guys. >.<
But I guess it does?!!?!? Even though it is never shown driving again, we see the bus at the end of the book and everyone is holding a sign saying, "The Bunny Bus Easter Parade." There's no parade. There's no other vehicles or even any other characters besides the ones who were on the bus. So... what?
I swear, this book makes no fucking sense. I know it's for children, but that's no excuse. Even children like a plot.
The illustrations are also ugly. And the text is very lame.
Room for more? Of course! Pile on!
The Bunny Bus rolls on and on.
We're full to bursting on this bus.
But more and more and more of us
Come squeezing in - we need more room,
Or else this bus might... go...
You can see why I didn't enjoy it and wouldn't recommend it.

Read information about the authorAmmi-Joan Paquette has never met a ghost, mummy, monster, skeleton, or witch — as far as she knows. This book, she says, was inspired by a game she used to play with her sister: "Most of the details have been lost to time, but I still remember the shivery thrill I got when we played it. So, I drew on that same energy to write a spooky picture book, which eventually became A Ghost in the House." In addition to writing, Joan is also a literary agent representing authors of children’s books. She lives outside Boston with her family.
